Jakarta (B2B) - Mabes Polri menegaskan tidak akan campur tangan dalam penanganan kasus hukum dua anggota polisi yang ditangkap di Malaysia terkait dugaan kepemilikan narkoba.
"Polri tidak akan ikut campur atas proses hukum yang terjadi terhadap dua anggota yang ditangkap di Malaysia," kata Kepala Bagian Penerangan Umum Divisi Humas Polri Kombes Pol Agus Rianto di Jakarta, Senin.
Sebelumnya, Polisi Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) menangkap dua anggota Polri yang diduga terlibat dalam perdagangan narkoba di Kuching, Malaysia. Anggota Polri yang ditangkap adalah perwira menengah dengan pangkat AKBP yang pernah bertugas sebagai Kepala Sub Direktorat III Direktorat Reserse Narkoba bernama Idha Endri Prastiono serta anggota Kepolisian Sektor Entikong, Bripka MH Harahap.
Agus menyampaikan keprihatinannya atas penangkapan dua anggota Polri tersebut, karena diduga terkait dengan kepemilikan narkotika. "Kami dari Kepolisian menyampaikan keprihatinan karena ada ada dua anggota Polri yang kemarin ditangkap," ujarnya.
Hingga sekarang, menurut Agus, proses hukum terhadap keduanya masih berlanjut oleh penyidik dari Kepolisian Malaysia. Selain itu, kata dia, Kapolda Kalimantan Barat telah mengirim tim untuk berkoordinasi.
"Bagaimanapun kami akan terus melakukan koordinasi sepanjang itu bisa dilakukan, tetapi secara prinsip, kami menyerahkan sepenuhnya penyidikan kepada pihak PDRM," katanya.

Earlier, the Malaysian police (PDRM) had arrested two Indonesian police personnel allegedly involved in drug trafficking in Kuching, Malaysia. One of the arrested is a middle-ranking officer, with a rank of adjunct senior commissioner who serves as deputy director for Drug Investigation Division III named Idha Endri Prastiono, and the other is Brigadier MH Harahap, a member of the Entikong subdistrict police, West Kalimantan.
According to Rianto, the investigations are currently being carried out by two investigators from the PDRM. In addition, he said, the regional police chief of West Kalimantan has sent a team to coordinate.
"We will continue to do everything we can, but in principle, we leave the issue completely to the PDRM investigation," he said.
Agus claimed to have no knowledge of the details related to the involvement and role of IE Prastiono and Harahap. "We are still waiting for complete data from the PDRM investigators. The West Kalimantan Police team has not brought complete data," he said.
