Jakarta (B2B) - Menteri Kesehatan Nila F Moeloek mengingatkan masyarakat untuk mengikuti program Kartu Indonesia Sehat (KIS) untuk kesehatan ibu dan anak. Keunggulan KIS adalah manfaat preventif serta deteksi dini, gizi, imunisasi dan pelayanan pos pelayanan terpadu dan segera mendaftar ke kantor Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial atau BPJS Kesehatan terdekat.
"Saya ingatkan lebih baik mendaftar saat sehat karena prinsipnya gotong royong. Saya ingatkan lagi jangan tunggu sakit baru mendaftar. Mau di mana pun bisa mendaftar. Datangi kantor BPJS setempat, untuk mendaftar, jangan cuma ibu tapi anak dan bapaknya juga,” kata Nila F Moeloek saat berdialog dengan para peserta kegiatan Kampanye Peduli Kesehatan Ibu The Amazing Race bertema ‘Ibu Hebat Berlomba untuk Keluarga Sehat’, di Carrefour Kramat Jati, Selasa (25/11).
Dalam dialog tersebut, Menkes Nila F Moeloek didampingi Direktur Jenderal Bina Gizi dan Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak Kementerian Kesehatan, Anung Sugihantono, dan Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi DKI Jakarta, Dien Ermawati.
Menkes menambahkan, KIS merupakan perluasan cakupan kepersertaan dari fakir miskin dan orang tidak mampu. Mereka ini datanya belum termasuk ke dalam jumlah 84,6 juta jiwa penerima bantuan iuran (PBI) Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN).
Menurutnya, KIS juga memberikan manfaat yang lebih luas dari JKN. Yaitu mencakup upaya promotif dan preventif, serta deteksi dini yang sebelumnya belum tercover JKN seperti gizi, imunisasi, dan pelayanan posyandu.
Menjawab salah satu pertanyaan peserta mengenai program baru KIS untuk kesehatan ibu dan anak, Menkes menjelaskan dengan adanya jaminan kesehatan dapat mendorong masyarakat untuk bersalin ditolong oleh tenaga kesehatan dan dilakukan di fasilitas kesehatan.
“Dengan bersalin di fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan dan ditolong tenaga kesehatan akan mempercepat akses ibu dan bayi dalam mencapai penanganan yang adekuat apabila terjadi komplikasi,” ungkap Nila F Moeloek.

She added, the Healthy Indonesia Card program is an expansion of the coverage of the poor. The data they have not been included in the 84.6 million beneficiaries of the Healthy Indonesia Card program.
Moeloek said, the Healthy Indonesia Card program also provides more benefits that include promotion and prevention, and early detection, nutrition, immunization, and neighborhood health center services.
Answered one of the questions from participants regarding new programs for maternal and child health, the minister explained their health insurance can help pregnant women to give birth by medical personnel at a health center.
"Childbirth at a health center by skilled medical personnel will accelerate access to the mother and baby get immediate help in case of complications." Moeloek added.
