Jakarta (B2B) - Pemerintah mewacanakan akan menaikkan harga BBM sebelum tahun 2015 mendatang. Gubernur Bank Indonesia Agus Martowardojo mengatakan kenaikan harga BBM akan berdampak pada kenaikan infasi. Dia mengatakan kenaikan harga BBM bisa berdampak naiknya infasi menjadi 9 persen di akhir tahun.
Dia mengatakan ada yang kurang tepat dalam pengelolaan energi sehingga ketika harga BBM naik akan menimbulkan gejolak inflasi.
"Kalau subsidinya lebih dikelola dengan fix, inflasi akan lebih stabil," kata Agus, Kamis (30/10).
Dia mengatakan subdisi bisa diarahkan secara langsung kepada masyarakat. Dia mengatakan core inflasi yang bisa dikendalikan BI hingga akhir tahun mencapai 5,2 persen. Angka ini tidak termasuk asumsi penyesuaian harga BBM.
Di awal tahun BI memproyeksikan inflasi hingga akhir tahun mencapai 4,5 +- 1 persen. Namun, jika pemerintah menaikkan harga BBM, infasi kemungkinan di akhir tahun akan bertambah 3,68 persen sehingga mencapai 9 persen. Setiap kenaikan haga BBM Rp 1000, berdampak pada kenaikan inflasi 1,2 persen. Namun, menurut dia tidak masalah karena secara fiskal, perekonomian Indonesia akan lebih sehat.
