Jakarta (B2B) - Jakarta Provincial Government through the East Jakarta Administration will be transform the East Flood Canal as a culinary tour site in the near future. As planned, the site will be built in four zones to accommodate street vendors.

The Head of East Jakarta Cooperatives and SMEs Department, Arfian said each zone would have 200 until 250 street vendors. "Our plan is we will accommodate 800 street vendors in KBT area."

He added so far as many as 628 street vendors planned to occupy those zones and from that number, 144 of them already have auto-debit card from DKI Bank.

"This is our effort to arrange street vendors. Each zone will be mixed, starting from food, clothing, and accessories. I hope all vendors could already have Bank DKI account next month," Mr Arfian said here recently.
