Jakarta (B2B) - Ade Komaruddin ditunjuk oleh DPP Partai Golkar sebagai Ketua DPR untuk menggantikan Setya Novanto. Saat ini Ade Komaruddin merupakan Wakil Ketua Umum Golkar hasil Munas Bali yang juga Ketua Fraksi Golkar di parlemen.
"Ade Komarudin dipilih Ketua Umum (Aburizal) menggantikan pak Novanto," kata politisi Golkar MS Hidayat di Jakarta pada Kamis malam (17/12).
Hal yang sama diutarakan politikus Golkar lain Bambang Soesatyo. Bambang mengungkapkan bahwa Novanto bertukar posisi dengan Ade Komaruddin.
"Ade Komarudin jadi Ketua DPR, Pak Novanto jadi Ketua Fraksi," kata Bambang.
Pada Rabu (16/12) malam, Setya Novanto mengirimkan surat pengunduran dirinya sebagai Ketua DPR, kepada MKD. Keputusan Novanto mundur ditempuh saat mayoritas anggota MKD menyatakan akan memberikan sanksi pelanggaran sedang bagi Novanto atas kasusnya dengan PT Freeport.
Sanksi pelanggaran sedang artinya Novanto berpotensi dipecat dari posisinya sebagai Ketua DPR RI.
Jakarta (B2B) - Golkar Party has named Ade Komaruddin as the new Indonesian house speaker to replace Setya Novanto who resigned from the post.
Mr Komaruddin is currently deputy general chairman of the party and was elected during a Bali national conference. He is also chairman of the partys faction in the House of Representatives called the DPR.
"Komaruddin was chosen by the general chairman (Aburizal Bakrie) to replace Novanto," Golkar politician MS Hidayat noted here on Thursday night.
Another Golkar politician, Bambang Soesatyo, remarked that Novanto and Komaruddin had "swapped" positions.
"Komaruddin will be the house speaker, and Novanto will be the factions chairman," he said.
On Wednesday evening, Novanto submitted his resignation letter as house speaker to the Ethics Tribunal (MKD) since most of its members were in favor of imposing a sanction on him for violating the code of ethics in connection with his conversation with PT Freeports president director.
The sanction would likely be a discharge from the post of house speaker.
