London (B2B) - Arsenal berhasil menundukkan tim tamu Everton dengan skor 2-0 dalam laga lanjutan pekan ke-27 Liga Utama Inggris di Emirates, Minggu.
Gol kemenangan Arsenal dicetak oleh penyerang Prancis, Olivier Giroud, pada menit 39 dan dipungkasi pada menit 89 oleh gelandang berpengalaman, Tomas Rosicky, yang masuk sebagai pemain pengganti.
Dengan hasil tersebut, Arsenal kembali ke peringkat tiga klasemen sementara dengan koleksi 51 poin, menyingkirkan Manchester United (50) yang sempat sejenak menduduki posisi tersebut setelah memenangi laga Sabtu (28/2).

Namun keputusan Arsene Wenger memasukkan Rosicky pada menit 82, berbuah baik sebab pemain berkebangsaan Republik Ceko itu mencetak gol hanya tujuh menit berselang setelah merumput.

The embarrassing defeat to Monaco triggered renewed criticism of Wenger and his players, with the manager´s position once again called into question, and the Frenchman admitted his side now face a test of their resilience.
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is again missing after undergoing further surgery on a long-standing ankle problem, while Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Debuchy are also ruled out for the Gunners.
Meanwhile, Martinez has urged his Everton players to relax and start enjoying their football again in the Premier League – like they have done in Europe - as they look to climb into the top half of the table.
