Liverpool (B2B) - Pemain Liverpool Luis Suarez mencetak gol ke-30 di Liga Utama Inggris (Premier League) pada musim ini saat menghadapi Norwich City, Minggu, sekaligus menjadi pemain The Reds pertama yang melewati capaian rekor itu sejak Ian Rush pada 1987.
Setelah memberikan Liverpool keunggulan awal, Raheem Sterling memberikan umpan matang kepada Suarez yang kemudian menyepak bola hingga berbuah gol pada menit ke-11. Gol itu membuat pemain Uruguay tersebut membukukan 12 gol dalam lima penampilan terakhir, seperti dilansir Yahoo Sports.
Gol lainnya dari Sterling membawa kemenangan Liverpool dengan skor 3-2 sehingga menempatkan mereka unggul lima poin di puncak klasemen, dari peringkat kedua Chelsea, dengan tiga pertandingan masih tersisa.
Suarez saat ini masih tertinggal satu gol saja dari rekor total gol sepanjang 38 pertandingan di Liga Utama Inggris yang diciptakan bersama Alan Shearer dan Cristiano Ronaldo.

After giving Liverpool an early lead, Raheem Sterling teed up Suarez to steer home an 11th-minute shot that saw the Uruguayan register his 12th goal in his last five appearances against Norwich.
Another goal from Sterling gave Liverpool a 3-2 victory that took them five points clear at the top of the league table with three matches remaining.
Suarez is now one goal short of the record goal tally for a 38-game Premier League season, which is jointly held by Alan Shearer and Cristiano Ronaldo.
“It is important for myself, but my target is to help the team every time. We are on the top now and we enjoy that,” he told Sky Sports.
“Of course we are happy because those three points are important for us and we worked really hard today against Norwich."
