London - Chelsea were dumped out of the FA Cup by League One side Bradford 2-4 at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.
Jose Mourinho made nine changes from the last league game against Swansea City but there were enough seasoned internationals on the pitch for this rout not to have happened
First half strikes by Gary Cahill and Ramires looked to have booked under-performing Chelsea into the 5th Round, but a lacklustre second half allowed the Yorkshire side to inch their way back in.
Strikes from Jon Stead, Filipe Morais and Andy Halliday eight minutes from time ended any resistance. Substitute Mark Yeates's 94th minute goal rubbed salt into the already deep embarrassed wounds of the Premier League leaders.
Filipe Morais was lucky still to be on the pitch after 15 seconds when he appeared to elbow Cesar Azpilicueta right in front of the dugout areas bit referee Andre Marriner ignored the near assault.
As one would expect, The Blues dominated the opening exchanges in regard to possession, without creating any clear cut chances. A half chance by Didier Drogba who cut a left-footer high and wide into the Shed, housing 6,000 screaming Bradford City fans.
Petr Cech made a sensational goal line one-handed save from the bullet header from centre back
Andre Davis on 13 minutes. Pure instinct kicked in by Cech to thwart lively Bradford who seconds earlier saw a Gary Liddle pile-driver smack of the head of Gary Cahill as it was arrowing into the Chelsea net.
A half-hearted Loic Remy and Oscar drive did nothing to suggest Chelsea could create a chance in open play. But a set piece was the visitors' undoing on 22 minutes.
A simple near post corner by Oscar saw Cahill flick the ball high into the roof of Ben Williams net to put disjointed Chelsea ahead.
Goal number two came seven minutes before the break through Ramires.
The Brazil midfielder won the ball in midfield from ex-Chelsea youth product Filipe Morais and tucked home the ball from just inside the Bradford penalty area after a fine 1-2 with Mohamed Salah.
