Rolling Stones Cancel Australian Concert Following Death of Mick Jagger`s Girlfriend

THE ROLLING Stones membatalkan konsernya di Australia. Band ini mengumumkan mereka tidak akan tampil di Perth pada Rabu malam setelah perancang busana pacar Mick Jagger, L´Wren Scott meninggal dunia. Mereka diperkirakan bakal membatalkan tur konser di Australia meskipun belum merilis pernyataan resmi.
Promotor mereka Frontier Touring melansir pesan via Facebook pada Selasa sore: ´Kami menyesal bahwa konser The Rolling Stones di Perth dibatalkan untuk jadwal Rabu, 19 Maret 2014.´
Pesawat jet The Rolling Stones saat ini masih di Perth, tapi tidak diketahui apakah Jagger dan band telah terbang keluar dari Australia, seperti dilansir Mail Online.
L´Wren, 49, ditemukan tewas setelah gantung diri di apartemennya di Manhattan, Senin pagi.
Seorang juru bicara Jagger, 70, mengatakan bahwa sang penyanyi rock "benar-benar terkejut dan hancur´ setelah mendengar kabar duka tersebut.
Ketika ditanya apakah Jagger masih menjalin asmara hingga L´Wren Scott meninggal dunia, dia menjawab ´tentu saja´.
Mick dan L´Wren Scott telah berkencan sejak 2001.
Mendiang pertama kali masuk ke industri fashion sebagai stylist sebelum meluncurkan karya terbaiknya pada 2006 yang banyak diminati oleh kalangan selebritis.
Karya rancangannya disukai Oprah Winfrey, Nicole Kidman dan Michelle Obama. Dia bahkan disebut-sebut sedang merancang gaun pengantin Angelina Jolie.
Kabar kematiannya terjadi hanya beberapa jam setelah rocker Inggris nge-tweeted foto dirinya menikmati panorama pantai barat Australia.
Dia bersama personel Rolling Stones, gitaris Ronnie Wood, gitaris Keith Richards dan drummer Charlie Watts tampak senang bisa kembali di Australia ketika mereka mendarat di Perth kemarin - nge-tweet gambar dan video di depan jet pribadi mereka, yang dilabeli ´lidah menjulur´ ciri khas Rolling Stones.
Stones berada di Australia untuk menggelar konserl 14 On Fire Tour di enam stadion di Australia, setelah mereka umumkan pada 4 Desember tahun lalu.
Konser pertama mereka dijadwalkan di Perth Arena pada Rabu malam, kemudian bergeser ke Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne dan Brisbane.
Pesan melalui Facebook menambahkan: "Pemilik tiket konser diminta untuk memegang tiket sampai pengumuman berikutnya. Pemegang tiket dapat membuka frontiertouring.com, twitter.com/frontiertouring atau halaman Facebook untuk update. Harap dicatat ada komentar lebih lanjut yang tersedia saat ini.´

THE ROLLING Stones have cancelled their upcoming show in Australia. The band announced they would not be performing in Perth on Wednesday night following the death of Mick Jagger´s fashion designer girlfriend L´Wren Scott. They are expected to cancel the rest of the tour but have not made an official statement.
Their promoter´s Frontier Touring posted a Facebook message on Tuesday afternoon which read: ´We regret to announce that The Rolling Stones concert in Perth will not be going ahead as scheduled for Wednesday 19 March 2014.´
The Rolling Stones jet is currently still in Perth but it is unknown whether Jagger and the band have flown out of Australia.
L´Wren, 49, was found dead after hanging herself in her Manhattan apartment on Monday morning.
A spokesman for Jagger, 70, said the singer was ´completely shocked and devastated´ following the news of her death.
When asked if there were still in a relationship at the time of her death, he replied ‘of course’.
Mick and the Mormon-raised designer have been dating since 2001.
She first broke into the fashion industry as a stylist before launching an eponymous line in 2006 that was a major hit with celebrities.
Fans including Oprah Winfrey, Nicole Kidman and Michelle Obama. She had even been tipped to design Angelina Jolie’s wedding dress.
The news of her death came just hours after the English rocker tweeted a picture of himself enjoying a west coast beach.
He and fellow band members Ronnie Wood, Keith Richards and Charlie Watts looked thrilled to be back in Australia when they touched down in Perth yesterday - tweeting a picture and video of themselves in front of their private jet, which is emblazoned with the band´s trademark tongue logo.
The Stones were in the country for their 14 On Fire six-show stadium tour of Australia, which they announced on December 4 last year.
Their first concert was scheduled to be at Perth Arena on Wednesday night, with following shows in Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
