CHARLOTTE Dawson ditemukan tewas pada usia 47 tahun.

Mantan model dan presenter televisi kelahiran Selandia Baru, yang sudah lama menderita depresi, ditemukan tewas di rumahnya di Woolloomooloo pada Sabtu pagi.

Polisi mengkonfirmasi kepada MailOnline bahwa seorang wanita usia 47 tahun ditemukan di sebuah rumah di kawasan elit, seperti dilansir Mail Online.

Dalam pernyataannya kepolisian Kings Cross mengatakan, kematiannya ´tidak mencurigakan´, dan polisi terus melakukan penyelidikan.

Pernyataan itu menambahkan: "Polisi akan menyiapkan laporan untuk koroner berikut penemuan mayat di Woolloomooloo.

´Sekitar pukul 11:00 hari ini polisi dari Kings Cross mendapat telepon untuk menuju ke Cowper Wharf Rd setelah ditemukan mayat seorang wanita.´

Juru bicara Charlotte, Benji Hart of London Management, mengkonfirmasi kabar kematian sang bintang kepada MailOnline, dengan pernyataan: "Manajemen London sangat sedih atas kematian Charlotte Dawson. Kami bersimpati dan menyatakan turut belasungkawa kepada keluarganya di tengah kesedihan saat ini.´

Charlotte lahir di Selandia Baru pada 1966.

Pada usia 16 tahun dia pergi dari rumah untuk menekuni model di Eropa, bergabung  dengan Ford Modelling agen di New York.

Dia kemudian pindah ke Australia pada usia 26 tahun, dan dengan cepat terlibat penuh dalam kancah mode Australia.

Dia segera ditunjuk menjadi direktur mode Woman´s Day pada 1997, sebelum menjadi editor mode untuk New Idea.

Hal ini memicu kariernya di televisi, termasuk segmen fashion Charlotte di program Good Morning Australia.

Dia kemudian menjadi koresponden mode untuk program hiburan di Channel Ten di stasiun E! News, dan panelis reguler di jaringan pertunjukan, Beauty and the Beast.

Dia juga menjadi presenter tamu di Burke Backyard dan Channel Nine Simply The Best.

Hingga ditemukan tewas Charlotte memilih hidup melajang.

Dia pernah menikah dengan perenang Olimpiade Scott Miller.

Pasangan ini rujuk pada 1999, namun bercerai pada 2000 setelah rekaman CCTV memperlihatkan Miller berhubungan seks dengan seorang wanita tak dikenal di kamar mandi umum dan memakai narkoba.

Setelah berkencan serangkaian pemuda begajulan, Charlotte diketahui dekat dengan seorang pria berusia 24 tahun yang bekerja sebagai agen properti Double Bay.

CHARLOTTE Dawson has been found dead at the age of 47.

The New Zealand-born former model and television presenter, who had long been suffering from depression, was found at her Woolloomooloo home on Saturday morning.

Police confirmed to the MailOnline that a 47-year-old woman was discovered in a unit in the upmarket area.

In a statement Kings Cross police said there were no ´suspicious circumstances´ surrounding her death, and police investigations are continuing.

The statement added: ´Police will prepare a report for the coroner following the discovery of a body at Woolloomooloo.

´About 11am today police from Kings Cross local area command were called to Cowper Wharf Rd after the body of a woman was located in a unit.

Charlotte´s spokesperson, Benji Hart of London Management, confirmed the news of the star´s death to the MailOnline, saying in a statement: ´London Management is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Charlotte Dawson. Our thoughts and sincere condolence are with her family at this difficult time.´

Charlotte was born in New Zealand in 1966.

By the age of 16 she had left home to model in Europe and with Ford Modelling agency in New York.

She later moved to Australia at 26, and quickly immersed herself in the Australian fashion scene.

She was soon appointed Woman´s Day´s beauty and fashion director in 1997, before going on to become style editor for New Idea.

This led to a career in television, including Charlotte´s very own fashion segment on Good Morning Australia.

She went on to become a fashion correspondent for Channel Ten´s entertainment programme E! News, and a regular panelist on the network´s hit daytime show, Beauty and the Beast.

She also had guest spots on Burke´s Backyard and Channel Nine´s Simply The Best.

In 2002, she returned to her native New Zealand where she had presenting roles on TVNZ´s chat show How´s Life? and Prime´s Getaway and Charlotte´s Lists.

Most recently she was best known as being a judge on Australia´s Next Top Model, appearing on the show from for six years, from 2007 to 2013.

At the time of her death Charlotte was thought to be single.

She had been married once to Olympic swimmer Scott Miller.

The couple tied the knot back in 1999, but divorced in 2000 after CCTV footage of Miller having sex with an unidentified woman in a public bathroom and snorting drugs emerged.

After dating a string of bad boys, Charlotte was last linked to 24-year old Double Bay-based property agent Tyrone Corban.
