In the championships, pilots hit speeds of 230 miles an hour as they manoeuvre around a low aerial slalom track.
Lamb, who races for the Breitling Racing Team, won the Red Bull World Championship back in 2014.
He will be hoping to win at the Ascot course this weekend, where he has come close to claiming the top spot on two previous occasions.
The event will be his last race in the UK, as he plans to retire in October after the season finale.
Lamb has been a display pilot for over 30 years and has appeared in a number of films, including Hart's War starring Bruce Willis.
