Jakarta (B2B) - Kementerian Pertanian RI akan fokus pada upaya percepatan pencapaian swasembada dan peningkatan produksi 11 komoditas strategis, karena nilai ekonominya mencapai Rp712,4 triliun dan sangat penting sebagai basis kedaulatan pangan dan ruang ekonomi rakyat.
Menteri Pertanian RI Andi Amran Sulaiman mengatakan untuk mendukung pencapaian target tersebut, Kementerian Pertanian melakukan refocusing anggaran Rp4,3 triliun dalam pagu anggaran sebesar Rp31,5 triliun, dengan memangkas kegiatan yang tidak berhubungan dengan peningkatan produksi pertanian seperti seminar, rehabilitasi bangunan, dan membeli kendaraan bermotor.
Dari nilai ekonomi komoditas pangan strategis Rp712,4 triliun dengan rincian: padi mencapai Rp359,4 triliun, jagung Rp78,2 triliun, kedelai Rp7,7 triliun, gula Rp33,2 triliun, daging sapi/kerbau Rp56,5 triliun, cabai Rp49,4 triliun, bawang merah Rp27,1 triliun, kelapa sawit Rp31 triliun, karet Rp25,9 triliun, kopi Rp23 triliun, dan kakao Rp21 triliun.
"Kementan juga akan melakukan pengalihan anggaran untuk membeli alat mesin pertanian atau Alsintan, dan tahun ini rencananya akan disediakan 100 ribu unit Alsintan, yang sebelumnya hanya empat ribu unit pada 2014. Anggaran untuk membeli mobil dan perbaikan gedung akan dialihkan untuk membeli mesin traktor untuk petani," kata Mentan Amran Sulaiman di Jakarta pada Rabu (10/2).
Menurutnya, secara umum nilai ekspor rata-rata komoditas pertanian dalam lima tahun terakhir, 2010-2014 mencapai US$34,3 miliar atau Rp377,3 triliun yakni nilai ekspor tanaman pangan US$323,8 juta (Rp3,6 triliun), hortikultura US$457,9 juta (Rp5,04 triliun), perkebunan US$32,6 miliar (Rp358,7 triliun), peternakan US$865,3 juta (Rp9,5 triliun).
Sementara nilai ekspor 11 komoditas pangan strategis sangat penting dalam menunjang devisa negara sekaligus memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam perekonomian nasional. Nilai ekspor padi US$1,18 juta (Rp16 miliar), jagung US$62,2 juta (Rp842,2 miliar), bawang merah US$7,85 juta (Rp106,3 miliar), kelapa sawit US$17,35 miliar (Rp241 triliun), karet US$3,69 miliar (Rp51 triliun), kopi US$1,2 miliar (Rp17 triliun), dan kakao US$1,3 miliar (Rp18 triliun).
"Beberapa capaian pada 2015 antara lain realisasi perbaikan jaringan irigasi tersier mencapai 2,48 juta hektar atau meningkat 458 persen dibanding tahun 2014, dan realisasi bantuan Alsintan mencapai 65.431 unit atau meningkat 443,6% dibanding 2014. Sementara realisasi optimasi lahan mencapai 945 ribu atau meningkat 561,9 persen dibanding 2014," kata Mentan.

The economic value of a strategic commodity 712.4 trillion rupiahs, and this breakdown: 359.4 trillion rupiahs of rice, corn by 78.2 trillion rupiahs, 7.7 trillion rupiah of soybeans, sugar 33.2 trillion rupiahs, 56.5 trillion rupiahs of beef, 49.4 trillion rupiahs of chilli, shallots amounted 27.1 trillion rupiahs, 31 trillion rupiahs of palm oil, rubber amounted 25.9 trillion rupiahs, coffee by 23 trillion rupiahs and 21 trillion rupiahs of cocoa.
"The ministry also divert the budget for the purchase of agricultural machinery, and this year plans to provide 100 thousand units, previously only four thousand units in 2014. The budget for buying cars and building improvements will be diverted to buy the tractor engine for the farmers," Minister Sulaiman said here on Wednesday (10/2).
According to Mr. Sulaiman the average value of agricultural exports in the last five years, 2010-2014 to reach US $ 34.3 billion, or 377.3 trillion rupiah, exports of food crops reached US $ 323.8 million, horticulture US $ 457.9 million, estates US $ 32.6 billion, and US $ 865.3 million of the livestock sector.
While the value exports of 11 strategic commodities will support the entry of foreign exchange to the national interest. Rice export value US$1.18m, US$62.2m of corn, shallots US$7.85m, palm oil US$17.35b, rubber of US$3.69b, US$1.2b of coffee, and cocoa to US$1,3b.
