Jakarta (B2B) - Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) memperkirakan produksi kedelai 2015 akan mencapai 998,87 ribu ton biji kering, meningkat 43,87 ribu ton atau naik 4,59% dibandingkan 2014. Peningkatan produksi kedelai diperkirakan BPS karena penambahan luas panen sekitar 24,67 ribu hektar (4,01%) dan peningkatan produktivitas 0,09 kuintal per hektar (0,58%).
Kepala BPS, Suryamin mengatakan peningkatan produksi terbesar di Pulau Jawa hingga 42,56 ribu ton termasuk di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat, Bengkulu, Jawa Tengah, Sulawesi Selatan, dan Jambi. Sementara perkiraan penurunan produksi yang relatif besar di Provinsi Jawa Timur, Aceh, Bali, Gorontalo, dan Sumatera Barat.
"Kenaikan produksi kedelai 2015 sebanyak 43,87 ribu ton atau 4,59% terjadi pada perkiraan subround Mei - Agustus dan perkiraan subround September - Desember masing-masing 11,78 ribu ton atau 3,72%, dan 57,26 ribu ton atau 15.56%," kata Suryamin kepada pers di Jakarta, belum lama ini.
Dia menambahkan, sementara pada subround Januari - April terjadi penurunan produksi kedelai 25,17 ribu ton (9,29%) dibandingkan produksi pada subround yang sama pada 2014 atau year-on-year.
Menurutnya, penurunan produksi pada subround Januari - April sebagian besar karena penurunan produksi Februari 2015, yang hanya mencapai 92,49 ribu ton, lebih rendah dibanding produksi pada Februari 2014 hingga 108,41 ribu ton.
Sementara kenaikan produksi pada subround Mei - Agustus diperkirakan sebagian besar dari kenaikan produksi Juni 2015, yang diperkirakan mencapai 152,36 ribu ton, lebih tinggi daripada produksi pada bulan yang sama pada 2014 hanya 105,76 ribu ton (tabel bawah).
"Pola panen kedelai pada 2014 relatif sama dengan pola panen 2013, puncak panen kedelai pada 2013 dan 2014 pada Oktober, sementara subround Januari - April 2013 pada 2014, dan 2015 puncak panen terjadi pada Februari," kata Suryamin.

He added, in subround January to April soybean production decreased 25.17 thousand tons (9.29%) compared to production in the same subround in 2014 , or year-on-year.
He added, subround production declined in January to April due to production in February 2015 only 92.49 thousand tons, lower than in February 2014, which reached 108.41 thousand tons.
While an increase production at subround May to August is expected due to an increase in production in June 2015, which is estimated to reach 152.36 thousand tons, higher than the production in the same month in 2014, only 105.76 thousand tons (table below).
"The pattern of soybean harvest in 2014 is relatively the same as in 2013, the peak of the harvest in 2013 and 2014 in October, while subround January to April in 2013, 2014, and 2015, the peak of the harvest in February," said Suryamin.
