Malang (B2B) - Sekitar 38 kota dan kabupaten di seluruh Indonesia berpartisipasi dalam pameran produk-produk hasil pertanian bertajuk ´Krida Pertanian Fair 2013´ di Alun-alun Kota Batu, Malang, Jawa Timur mulai hari ini hingga Minggu (16/6). Seluruh peserta berpartisipasi menampilkan produk pertanian unggulan dari masing-masing daerah.
Penyelenggaraan ´Krida Pertanian Fair 2013´ selain bertujuan memperkenalkan buah-buahan serta produk pertanian unggulan Nusantara, sekalgus sebagai kampanye mencintai produk-produk buah dalam negeri. Sejumlah pakar turut hadir untuk membagikan ilmu pertanian untuk budi daya tanaman unggulan kepada para pengunjung.
Pengunjung pun mendapat kesempatan untuk mencicipi aneka jenis buah unggulan Nusantara. "Kita mesti bangga akan produk pertanian dalam negeri yang tidak kalah dengan produk impor," kata Wali Kota Batu, Eddy Rumpoko.
"Sudah waktunya produk buah nasional menjadi tuan rumah di negeri sendiri. Kalau bisa, tidak hanya untuk konsumsi dalam negeri tapi juga dapat mengekspor ke luar untuk devisa negara," kata Eddy Rumpoko.
Wakil Menteri Pertanian, Rusman Heriawan menyambut baik inisiatif dan ajakan Wali Kota Batu untuk memajukan produk pertanian nasional, karena potensinya sangat banyak untuk dikembangkan memenuhi kebutuhan nasional maupun kepentingan ekspor.
"Sektor pertanian semakin maju maka kualitas produknya pun semakin baik. Buah hasil pertanian nusantara segar, enak dan sehat seperti apel asal Batu yang dikenal memiliki kualitas bagus," ungkap Rusman Heriawan.

A number of experts were present to share the agricultural sciences for the cultivation of seed plants to the visitors.
Visitors also had the opportunity to taste different types of seeded fruit. "We should be proud of domestic agricultural products are not lost with import products," said Mayor Kota Batu, Eddy Rumpoko.
"It´s time fruit products nationwide to host their own country. If possible, not only for domestic consumption but also can export out to foreign countries," said Eddy Rumpoko.
The Vice Agriculture Minister, Rusman Heriawan welcomed the initiative and invitation of the Mayor of Kota Batu to promote agricultural products nationwide, because so much potential to develop to meet national needs, as well as export purposes.
"The agricultural sector is advancing then quality of the product was better. Archipelago fruit crops fresh, tasty and healthy as apple Kota Batu origin are known to have good quality," said Rusman Heriawan.
