President Widodo Conduct Rice Harvest in Pictures
PRESIDEN RI Joko Widodo mendukung modernisasi pertanian nasional dengan memanfaatkan alat mesin pertanian (Alsintan) sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas pertanian.
Presiden Jokowi dan Ibu Iriana Widodo setelah seremoni panen padi mendapat penjelasan dari Menteri Pertanian, Andi Amran Sulaiman tentang mesin combine harvester yang dioperasikan petani, dan menyaksikan beroperasinya alat panen tersebut.
"Intensifikasi produksi padi seperti ini yang diperlukan untuk meningkatkan produksi pangan, karena melonjak beberapa kali lipat," kata Presiden Jokowi.
Turut mendampingi Presiden Jokowi, Menteri Desa, Pembangunan Daerah Tertinggal dan Transmigrasi, Marwan Jafar; Menteri Sekretaris Negara, Pratikno; dan Kepala Staf Kepresidenan, Teten Masduki. INDONESIAN President Joko Widodo support national agricultural modernization by utilizing agricultural machinery, thereby increasing agricultural productivity.
President Widodo and Mrs Iriana Widodo after the rice harvest ceremony is explained by Agriculture Minister, Andi Amran Sulaiman about the combine harvester machine which are operated by farmer, and witnessed the operation of harvesters.
"Crop intensification is necessary to increase food production, because the rice harvest proved to surged double," President Widodo said.
President Widodo's visit to Karawang accompanied by Rural, Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration Minister, Marwan Jafar; Minister of State Secretary, Pratikno; and Chief of Staff of the Presidency, Teten Masduki. While the first echelon officials of Agriculture Ministry is the Head of Research and Development of Agriculture, Muhammad Syakir; and Head of the Agriculture Quarantine Agency, Banun Harpini.
