Prabowo dan Jokowi, Pendukungnya Diminta Ketua MK Saling Memaafkan

Jakarta (B2B) - Para pendukung pasangan  Prabowo-Hatta maupun Jokowi-JK diminta oleh Ketua Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK) Hamdan Zoelva menjadikan momentum Idul Fitri untuk saling memaafkan dan memperkuat hubungan silaturahim.

"Pesan saya, mari kita jadikan momentum Idul Fitri untuk saling memaafkan dan memperkuat hubungan silaturahim dan persaudaraan untuk memperkokoh persatuan dan kesatuan," kata Hamdan Zoelva saat "Open House" di rumah dinasnya di Jakarta, Senin (28/7).

Karena itu kedua kubu dapat berjabat tangan pada momen Idul Fitri ini karena pemilu hanya proses demokrasi dan itu hal biasa.

"Saya harapkan kubu 1 dan kubu 2 itu berjabat tangan, pemilu itu hanya proses demokrasi dan itu biasa. Momentum Idul Fitri itu pas untuk bersatu dan kepada rakyat yang berbeda-beda itu sebaiknya bersatu lagi," katanya.

Ia mengatakan masing-masing kubu capres-cawapres sebaiknya memberikan pencerahan bahwa proses Pemilu itu biasa bukan hidup dan mati, jadi semua harus bisa bersatu.

Sebelumnya, Komisi Pemilihan Umum menetapkan pasangan Joko Widodo dengan Jusuf Kalla sebagai pemenang Pilpres 2014.

Pasangan capres dan cawapres Joko Widodo dan Jusuf Kalla memperoleh suara 70.997.833 atau 53,15 persen.

Sedangkan, pasangan nomor 1 Prabowo Subianto dengan Hatta Rajasa meraih 62.576.444 suara atau 46,85 persen.Sementara selisih suara keduanya yaitu, 8.421.389 suara.


Jakarta (B2B) - Indonesia Constitutional Court (MK) Chief Justice Hamdan Zoelva has called on the supporters of the rival presidential candidates to use the Idul Fitri occasion to forgive each other.

"Let us use this momentum for exchanging forgiveness and boosting our personal relationships and brotherhood to strengthen national unity and cohesion," he stated at the open house in his official residence here on Monday.

Zoelva emphasized that supporters of the Prabowo-Hatta and the Jokowi-JK tickets must shake hands with each other as the presidential election is a mere common democratic process.

"This Idul Fitri is a good occasion for building unity, and so the people who have different preferences had better unite again," he reiterated.

Zoelva suggested that each camp should promote the message that the election is not a question of life and death, and hence, they must unite again. 

The General Elections Commission (KPU) has declared the Jokowi-JK pair as the winner of the July 9 presidential election.

However, the Prabowo-Hatta pair has rejected the decision and filed a lawsuit with the MK citing massive and systematic fraud.
