ROCKER Jon Bon Jovi mengumumkan niatnya untuk membeli saham klub Buffalo Bills, dan telah mengajukan dokumen pembelian klub yang merupakan bagian dari grup Toronto.

Belum diketahui apakah klub softball yang bergabung di NFL ini akan hengkang ke Toronto, hak atas pembelian waralaba klub terbuka lebar di pasar setelah pemilik Hall of Fame, Ralph Wilson meninggal dunia pada Maret lalu.

Sumber Associated Press menegaskan bahwa Bon Jovi telah membahas keinginannya tersebut dalam pertemuan makan siang bulan lalu dengan Komisaris NFL Roger Goodell, seperti dilansir MailOnline.

Klub Bills menurut Forbes nilainya ditaksir sekitar US$ 870 juta. Para pemegang saham berniat melepas saham kepada publik hingga US$ 1 miliar. 

Bon Jovi sebelumnya menyatakan minatnya untuk memiliki sebuah waralaba NFL tetapi tidak pernah secara khusus menyebutkan Bills. Ini adalah indikasi pertama yang mengaitkannya dengan Tanenbaum dan Rogers. 


ROCKER Jon Bon Jovi is part of a Toronto group that has submitted paperwork expressing interest in buying the Buffalo Bills.

It is unclear if the group would eventually want to move the NFL team to Toronto, but the franchise is on the market after Hall of Fame owner Ralph Wilson died in March. 

An Associated Press source confirmed that Bon Jovi discussed his interests during a restaurant meeting last month with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

The Bills most recently were valued by Forbes at $870million. They are projected to be sold for at least $1billion, partly because NFL teams rarely go on the market.

Bon Jovi previously expressed interest in owning an NFL franchise but never specifically mentioned the Bills. This is the first real indication linking him to Tanenbaum and Rogers.
