Jakarta (B2B) - Pemerintah RI menyatakan 34 perusahaan memenuhi persyaratan untuk memperoleh pengakuan dari Komisi Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO). Sementara 23 perusahaan belum memenuhi persyaratan dan harus memperbaiki atau melengkapi dokumen, dan tiga lembaga konsultan ISPO memenuhi persyaratan yang ditetapkan Komisi ISPO dari hasil sidang komisi pada akhir April 2015 terhadap 57 perusahaan perkebunan kelapa sawit dan tiga lembaga konsultan.

Direktur Jenderal Perkebunan di Kementerian Pertanian RI Gamal Nasir mengatakan berdasarkan hasil penilaian usaha perkebunan 2012, perusahaan perkebunan kelapa sawit yang memenuhi persyaratan untuk mengajukan permohonan Sertifikat ISPO mencapai 660 perusahaan yang setiap tahun bertambah disesuaikan dengan pelaksanaan penilaian usaha perkebunan tahap operasional oleh daerah.

"Dari jumlah tersebut, yang sudah mengajukan permohonan untuk Sertifikat ISPO mencapai 562 perusahaan, dan 97 di antaranya telah memperoleh Sertifikat ISPO dengan demikian 98 perusahaan belum mengajukan permohonan hingga 2014," kata Gamal Nasir kepada pers di Jakarta, Senin (11/5).

Dia menambahkan, pemerintah memberi kesempatan kepada perusahaan perkebunan kelapa sawit yang belum mengajukan Sertifikat ISPO hingga 31 Desember 2014, mendapat tenggang waktu untuk mengajukan pendaftaran permohonan Sertifikat ISPO hingga 25 September 2015.

Menurutnya, apabila sampai 25 September 2015, perusahaan belum mengajukan permohonan, maka kelas kebun akan diturunkan menjadi kelas empat oleh pemberi izin yakni gubernur atau bupati sesuai kewenangannya.

While 23 companies have not met the requirements and the need to fix or complete document, and three consulting agencies meet the requirements, set by the commission in accordance results of the trial at the end of April 2015 of 57 palm oil plantation companies and three consulting firms, according to a senior Indonesian official.

Agriculture Ministry´s Director General of Plantation, Gamal Nasir said that based on the assessment results of 2012, palm oil plantation companies which meet the requirements to apply for a ISPO Certificate reached 660 companies, which annually increases.

"Of that amount, which already apply for the ISPO Certificate reached 562 companies, and 97 of them have got the certificate, thus the 98 companies not apply until 2014," Mr Nasir told reporters in Jakarta on Monday (5/11).

He added, the palm oil plantation companies in Indonesia, which has not had a ISPO Certificate to December 31, 2014, were given deadline by the Indonesian government to apply for registration to 25 September 2015.

According to Mr Nasir that until September 25, 2015, the company has not filed an application for registration, the palm oil plantation class will be lowered to the fourth grade by regional heads who issued the permit.
