Jakarta (B2B) - Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) mengingatkan bahwa sesuai ketentuan Islam maupun negara mengijinkan poligami dengan empat istri. Apabila lebih dari empat maka hukumnya adalah haram dan hubungan intim yang dilakukan tergolong zina.
"Menikah itu sunnah. Menjadi wajib apabila dikhawatirkan akan berbuat hal yang tidak baik. Haram hukumnya apabila menelantarkan istri dan anak atau bermotif balas dendam," kata Sekretaris Fatwa MUI, HM Asrorun Ni'am Sholeh, MA di Jakarta, Sabtu (13/4).
Menurut Asrorun, siapapun pria tersebut pejabat tinggi atau ustadz sekali pun apabila menikah lebih dari empat dalam waktu bersamaan, hal itu dilarang agama dan negara.
"Kami tidak menunjuk orang, ini kan dalam proses pengkajian. Siapa pun dia, ustadz sekali pun tetap haram."
Terkait Eyang Subur? "Itu tidak bisa dianggap istri. Itu sama saja hidup serumah tapi tidak menikah. Itu statusnya ilegal," papar Asrorun.
Dalam islam, sudah beristri dan berzina, hukumannya dirajam hingga mati. "Secara fiqih ya, tapi kan negara punya undang-undang yang mengatur perzinaan," tandasnya.

According Asrorun, whoever the man of high officials, or religious teacher once if married more than four at a time, it was forbidden religion and state.
"We do not appoint people, is in the process of assessment. Whoever he is, once religious teacher was still forbidden."

In Islam, is married and adultery, the punishment is stoning to death. "In fiqh yes, but it has state laws governing adultery," he said.
