Jakarta (B2B) - Terdakwa kasus kecelakaan di tol Jagorawi, Rasyid Amrullah Rajasa dituntut hukuman delapan bulan penjara dengan masa percobaan selama 12 bulan penjara.

Jaksa Penuntut Umum (JPU) Tengku Rahman mengatakan tuntutan ringan tersebut berdasarkan pada keadaan sosiologis dan keadaan yuridis Rasyid. JPU juga menuntut Rasyid membayar denda senilai Rp12 juta subsider 6 bulan kurungan.
"Kondisi sosiologis itu misalnya adanya perdamaian antara terdakwa dengan keluarga korban, kemudian keluarga korban menganggap ini sebagai musibah," kata Tengku Rahman dalam sidang pembacaan tuntutan di Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Timur, Kamis (7/3).
Sementara dari sisi yuridis, Tengku mengatakan tuntutan tersebut berdasarkan pada pendapat ahli pidana di persidangan.
"Yang perlu dibuktikan dalam kasus ini adalah kelalaian dalam berkendara yang tidak disadari sehingga dikenakan pidana yang ringan," lanjutnya.
