Jakarta [B2B] - Pemerintah terus berkomitmen dalam memberantas judi online diberbagai situs online. Sepanjang 17 Juli 2023 sampai 21 Mei sudah ada 1.904.246 konten judi online yang ditake down, serta memblokiran 5.364 rekening dan 555 e-wallet yang terafiliasi judi online.
Hal ini disampaikan Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika, Budi Arie Setiadi usai mengikuti rapat internal yang dipimpin Presiden Joko Widodo mengenai lanjutan pembahasan pemberantasan judi online di Istana Merdeka, Jakarta.
Ia mengungkapkan bahwa pihaknya terus berkoordinasi dengan berbagai platform terkait perubahan keyword situs judi online. Budi menyebutkan, Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika telah menemukan keyword situs judi online baru di sejumlah platform.
"Di Google ada 20.251 keyword, di Meta ada 2.637 keyword baru, yang itu terus kita kejar supaya pemberantasan judi online di tingkat hulu ini bisa kita selesaikan,” ungkapnya.
Di samping itu, pihaknya juga menemukan upaya penyisipan konten-konten judi online ke dalam situs-situs resmi, termasuk di antaranya situs lembaga pendidikan dan lembaga pemerintah.
"Kemenkominfo juga telah memberikan teguran kepada sejumlah platform media sosial seperti TikTok, Google, dan Meta terkait temuan adanya pemuatan konten-konten judi online di platform ini," ujar Budi.
Di samping upaya tersebut, pihaknya pun telah melakukan langkah-langkah tegas dengan melakukan penutupan akses terhadap konten-konten judi online.
“Sepanjang hampir satu bulan lebih sejak rapat terakhir soal judi online 19 April sampai 21 Mei 2024, kami sudah men-take down 290.850 konten, jadi sebulan hampir 300.000, sehari 10.000 konten judi online. Termasuk juga pemblokiran rekening e-wallet sepanjang satu bulan terakhir ini ada 300,” tegasnya.
Menurutnya, pemberantasan judi online harus dilakukan secara sistematis dan komprehensif. Untuk itu, Presiden Jokowi dalam rapat telah memerintahkan pembentukan Satgas Judi Online.
“Sesuai arahan Pak Presiden akan dibentuk Satgas Judi Online, di mana ketuanya adalah Pak Menko Polhukam, Ketua Bidang Pencegahannya Menkominfo, dan Ketua Penindakannya adalah Pak Kapolri,” pungkas Budi.
Ia menegaskan bahwa Satgas Judi Online tersebut akan bekerja melakukan upaya-upaya konkret dan memberikan dampak nyata bagi pemberantasan judi online di tanah air.

He revealed that his party continues to coordinate with various platforms regarding changes to keywords for online gambling sites. Budi said that the Ministry of Communication and Information had found keywords for new online gambling sites on a number of platforms.
"In Google there are 20,251 keywords, in Meta there are 2,637 new keywords, which we continue to pursue so that we can complete the eradication of online gambling at the upstream level," he said.
Apart from that, his party also found efforts to insert online gambling content into official sites, including the sites of educational institutions and government institutions.
"The Ministry of Communication and Information has also issued a warning to a number of social media platforms such as TikTok, Google and Meta regarding the discovery of online gambling content being uploaded on these platforms," said Budi.
In addition to these efforts, his party has also taken firm steps by closing access to online gambling content.
"In almost a month since the last meeting about online gambling, April 19 to May 21 2024, we have taken down 290,850 pieces of content, so almost 300,000 a month, 10,000 pieces of online gambling content a day. "Including 300 e-wallet account blockings during the last month," he stressed.
According to him, the eradication of online gambling must be carried out systematically and comprehensively. For this reason, President Jokowi in a meeting has ordered the formation of an Online Gambling Task Force.
"In accordance with the President's direction, an Online Gambling Task Force will be formed, where the chairman is the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, the Head of Prevention is the Minister of Communication and Information, and the Head of Enforcement is the National Police Chief," concluded Budi.
He emphasized that the Online Gambling Task Force will work to make concrete efforts and have a real impact on eradicating online gambling in the country.
