Jakarta (B2B) - Conflict at Indonesian House of Representative between Red and White Coalition of Prabowo Subianto and Great Indonesian Coalition of President Joko Widodo, finally made peace. Both have signed an agreement on Monday, November 17.
Pramono Anung and Olly Dondokambey were represented KIH, while KMP was represented by Hatta Rajasa and Idrus Marham. Representatives from both coalitions were seen embracing each other after the signing.
House Speaker Setya Novanto claimed the agreement was aimed to make both coalitions work hand in hand harmoniously. "There will be no Great Indonesian and Read and White Coalition. We only have one family at the House," Novanto said here on Monday (11/17).
The agreement consists of five points. The first is that KIH gets 21 chairmanships of internal bodies. Secondly, they have changed articles on Laws no 17/2014. They have also decided to revise the 2014 Legislative Institutions Law (MD3) before December 5. The last point is that both coalitions agreed to have meeting on no-confidence motion.
