Jakarta (B2B) - Deputy Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Denny Indrayana was ´not happy´ and directly phoned the Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Abraham Samad for his remarks that many rich corruptors freely in and out of jail.
"On the statement, I was immediately called to Abraham Samad. I asked the KPK chairman to explain who the inmates and the prison which gives the flexibility," Denny said in written statement received Thursday (9/5) evening.
It turns out Abraham Samad claimed not to have the data, said Denny, and will immediately inform the following data are available.
Denny also clarified the statement of Abraham, who called Denny asks the KPK to help accommodate the case corruptors because it was overwhelmed.
"With all due respect, is not an accurate statement of the Chairman of KPK," said Denny.
Former Special Staff of President Yudhoyono to the field of law, admitted it had contacted Abraham Samad, but the context to discuss the placement of former Democratic Party Treasurer, M Nazaruddin in the Military Detention (RTM) Guntur.
"The context is for security. Nazar had sent a letter to be placed back in the Mako Brimob detention center. Mr. Amir and I was do not agree," added Denny.
According to Denny, is more appropriate if Nazaruddin placed RTM Guntur, because the fewer the number of detainees so that security would be better.
"In terms of improvements in prisons, especially for inmates corruption, admittedly we continue to do. Especially the modus out with sick leave prison," he said.
