Jakarta (B2B) - PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) menargetkan bisa menyediakan 50 ribu on board unit untuk layanan e-toll. Penambahan alat layanan e-toll ini bisa meningkatkan transaksi kartu prabayar perseroan.

Vice President Electronic Banking Bank Mandiri, Rahmat Broto Triaji mengatakan, sejak diluncurkan April tahun lalu, jumlah pengguna on board unit hanya sebanyak 10 ribu.

Menurut Rahmat, on board unit yang disiapkan tersebut memungkinkan pengendara melintasi gerbang tol dengan kecepatan 50 km per jam.

"Sebelumnya hanya 10 km per jam, sekarang kita pakai gelombang infrared, bukan microwave lagi," kata Rahmat.
