The world No 47 vented her anger during her match at the Domain Tennis Centre in Hobart, Australia by hitting the piece of equipment against the floor.
Her public display of disappointment came during a 6-1, 4-6, 6-4 win in the semi-finals of the Hobart International.
Bouchard's reputation was somewhat damaged in 2015 as she lost 18 of her 30 singles tournament games.
However now she is the one doing the damage.
The 21-year-old said after her win: 'I just felt my timing was a bit off and my serve was definitely not there so at least I pulled through, but I definitely want to be able to play better than that.'
She is playing in only her third tournament since she sustained concussion after falling in the dressing room at the US Open in September.
Bouchard will face Alize Cornet in the final on Saturday before putting the final touches on preparations for the first round of the Australian Open.
