Jakarta (B2B) - Dewi Perssik berupaya tampil maksimal di film terbarunya, Pantai Selatan khususnya ketika tampil tanpa busana alias bugil demi totalitas memerankan Dewi Ular, ketika keluar dari cangkang telur ular. Film Pantai Selatan dijadwalkan tayang serentak besok (26/9) di bioskop-bioskop di seluruh Indonesia.
"Saya telanjang demi totalitas peran sebagai Dewi Ular. Tapi waktu syuting tidak banyak kru yang menyaksikan. Saya hanya mau ada perempuan saja. Kalau adegan ciuman, itu diperankan oleh pemain pengganti," kata Dewi Perssik yang akrab dipanggil DP saat press screening film Pantai Selatan di Planet Hollywood Jakarta, Selasa (24/9).
Produser film Pantai Selatan, Shanker RS memberi apresiasi pada totalitas peran DP, bagaimana penyanyi dangdut tersebut dengan suka hati melakukan body painting untuk menampilkan tekstur kulit ular.
"Hampir satu hari DP merelakan tubuhnya dilukis dengan body painting sebelum syuting," kata Shanker kepada pers.
DP pun mengaku bersedia tampil total karena diberi kebebasan oleh produser maupun sutradara film untuk merancang kostum Dewi Ular.
"Semuanya saya yang atur, termasuk kostum. Itu yang membuat saya semangat bekerja. Jadi tidak hanya sekedar main. Berani telanjang, keluar dari kepompong, sambil berjalan kaki tanpa sehelai benang pun," ungkap DP mantan istri Saiful Jamil dan Aldi Taher ini lagi.
Dalam film yang awalnya berjudul Dewi Ular Titisan Nyi Blorong, peran DP didukung oleh Fifi Buntaran dan Nikita Mirzani.

If kissing scene, it was played by stuntwomen," said Dewi Persik is fondly called DP at a press screening of the film Pantai Selatan at Planet Hollywood Jakarta, Tuesday (24/9).
Pantai Selatan film producer, Shanker RS appreciate the totality of the DP role, how the dangdut singer gladly do body painting to show the snake skin texture.
"Almost one-day DP gave up his body painted before shooting," Shanker told reporters.
DP also claim to be willing to show the total for freedom by producers and film directors to design costumes Snake Goddess.
"Everything I were set, including costumes. Make my passion for work. So do not just play. Dare naked, out of the the snake egg, to walk naked," said the ex-wife of DP Saiful Jamil and Aldi Taher.
Pantai Selatan movie originally titled Dewi Ular Titisan Nyi Blorong, DP role supported by Fifi Buntaran and Nikita Mirzani.
