TOKYO memimpin jatuhnya harga saham di pasar Asia, indeks Nikkei dibuka 225 langsung terjerembab hampir tujuh persen sebelum ditutup turun 4,7 persen.
Hong Kong kehilangan lebih dari lima persen pada hari terburuk sejak musim panas 2015, sementara Sydney dan Singapura masing-masing merosot tiga persen.
Pagi ini, perdagangan FTSE 100 London turun ke level terendah sejak akhir 2016, turun serendah 7079,4 pada satu tahap segera setelah dibuka sebelum pulih sedikit.
Pada perdagangan awal hari ini, pasar saham Eropa ambruk sekitar 3,5 persen.
Pasar saham dunia merosot untuk hari keempat, Selasa, setelah US$4 triliun dihapuskan atau wiped off dari perdagangan. Padahal delapan hari lalu bursa saham baru mencatat nilai tinggi, dan ini mengikuti rekor kerugian di Wall Street kemarin seperti dilansir MailOnline.
TOKYO (top centre) led a collapse throughout the region, with the Nikkei 225 briefly diving almost seven per cent before closing down 4.7 per cent.
Hong Kong (bottom centre) lost more than five per cent in its worst day since summer 2015, while Sydney and Singapore each sank three per cent.
This morning, London´s FTSE 100 (top right) fell to its lowest level since late 2016, dropping as low as 7079.4 at one stage soon after opening before recovering slightly.
In initial trade today, European stock markets (bottom right) collapsed by about 3.5 per cent.
World stock markets have now nosedived for a fourth day running, having seen $4 trillion wiped off from what just eight days ago had been record high values. It followed record losses on Wall Street yesterday (left).
