RAKSASA teknologi Samsung mengumumkan telah membuat terobosan untuk mencapai kecepatan mobile data super cepat 5G.
Ini berarti pengguna smartphone bisa men-download informasi untuk film, musik dan ratusan jaringan sosial lebih cepat daripada jaringan 4G , yang saat ini diklaim tercepat.
Dan itu akan menjadi perubahan besar bagi banyak pengguna internet seluler, karena banyak masih hanya memiliki kemampuan 3G, seperti dilansir The Sun.
Perusahaan Korea - dengan Galaxy S3 smartphone terlaris tahun 2012 - mengatakan bahwa setelah 5G dapat diakses, pengguna dengan mudah akan dapat men-download video ultra-HD dan game 3D.
Video streaming real-time juga diprediksi menjadi layanan sehari-hari, ketika ponsel lebih mudah mengatasi sejumlah besar data yang dibutuhkan.

TECH giant Samsung have announced they are on the brink of a breakthrough in achieving super-fast 5G mobile data speeds.
It would mean smartphone users could download information for movies, music and social networking hundreds of times faster than the current-fastest 4G network.
And it would be a sea-change for many users, as many still only have 3G coverage.
The Korean company - whose Galaxy S3 was the best-selling smartphone of 2012 - say that once 5G is rolled out, people will easily be able to download ultra-HD and 3D videos and games.
Real-time streaming is also predicted to become an everyday service, as phones become more easily able to cope with the vast amounts of data required to do it.
Although 5G is not expected to be available until 2020, Samsung reckon their research will “invigorate research into 5G cellular communications across the world”.
The company blog said: “Samsung’s new technology will allow users to transmit massive data files including high quality digital movies practically without limitation.”
The key to 5G transmission is in sending information over a much broader range of frequencies, called ‘millimetre-wave’.
Samsung say that the principle for this is similar to a large flow of water needing a wider pipe to get through.
It was previously thought the millimetre-wave technology was too unstable to work properly, but the company developed a new transceiver to send and receive without losing any data.
