Jakarta (B2B) - Kementerian Kesehatan menyiapkan perangkat Thermal Scanner (pemindai suhu tubuh pada manusia) untuk dipasang di bandar udara dan pelabuhan guna meningkatkan public awareness dalam mengantisipasi masuknya flu burung H7N9 ke Indonesia.

Direktur Pengendalian Penyakit Bersumber Binatang Kementerian Kesehatan, Andi Muhadir mengatakan penyediaan Thermal Scanner didukung petugas kesehatan, banner dan poster di sejumlah bandar udara maupun pelabuhan.

"Kita sudah menyiagakan petugas kantor kesehatan pelabuhan (KKP) serta memasang banner dan poster peringatan kesehatan terhadap flu burung di seluruh bandara dan pelabuhan, guna mensosialisasikan kepada masyarakat tentang bahaya dari virus H7N9," kata Andi Muhadir didampingi Kepala Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan Pertanian, Haryono dalam diskusi panel di Jakarta, Selasa (30/4).

Menurutnya, dinas kesehatan di seluruh provinsi diminta untuk siaga mengamati kemungkinan munculnya kasus flu burung H7N9 di wilayahnya.

""Kita meminta kepada dinas kesehatan ataupun rumah sakit daerah untuk mempersiapkan sarana dan prasarana serta mewaspadai bila terjadi infeksi saluran pernafasan yang tidak jelas penyebabnya agar ditangani dengan seksama," ungkap Andi Muhadir.

"We´ve alerted the port health office clerk (CTF) and put up banners and posters warning the threat avian influenza at all airports and ports, in order to disseminate to the public about the dangers of the H7N9 virus," said Andi Muhadir accompanied by the Head of Agricultural Research and Development Board, Haryono in panel discussion in Jakarta, Tuesday (30/4).

According to him, health offices across the province were asked to stand to observe the possible emergence of H7N9 avian influenza in the region.

"We asked the health offices or local hospital to prepare the infrastructure and alert in case of respiratory tract infections is not clear why that is handled carefully," said Andi Muhadir.
