Jakarta (B2B) - Penerapan angkutan massal melalui Mass Rapid Transport (MRT) masih butuh waktu panjang. Pemerintah Provinsi DKI kini tengah mengkaji rencana Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) dengan mengintegrasikan TransJakarta, Kopaja dan Metromini dalam satu jalur. Rencananya, BRT tersebut akan terintegrasi dalam sembilan rute.

Konsep BRT akan diterapkan pada Oktober 2013, dengan estimasi anggaran Rp300 miliar, dengan mengintegrasikan BRT di sembilan rute di Koridor 1 dan Koridor 6. Kapasitas angkut BRT diperkirakan 21 ribu orang per jam per arah. Bandingkan dengan MRT dengan kapasitas angkut 25 ribu per orang, per jam per arah dengan estimasi anggaran Rp17 triliun.

""Kami mempunyai konsep mengenai integrasi Kopaja, Metromini dan TransJakarta. Untuk anggarannya kami masih bicarakan dengan Pak Wagub (Wakil Gubernur DKI Jakarta Basuki Tjahja Purnama)," kata Konseptor Integrasi Bus TransJakarta dari Institute for Transportation and Development Policy, Yoga Adiwinarto.

Yoga Adiwinarto menyampaikan hal itu pada Curah Pendapat Program Peremajaan Revitalisasi Angkutan Umum Bus Sedang Terintegrasi TransJakarta di Jakarta Media Centre, Jl Kebon Sirih, Jakarta, Kamis (29/11/2012).

"Pak Gubernur menyambut baik konsep kami. Kopaja juga menyambut baik," tambah Yoga.

He states this in the discussion on Revitalization Program of TransJakarta Integrated Public Bus in Jakarta Media Centre, Jl Kebon Sirih, Jakarta, on Thursday (29/11).

“The Governor welcomes our concept. Kopaja also agree on it,” Yoga adds.
