Jakarta (B2B) - Sulit membedakan bakso campur daging babi dengan bakso sapi asli, karena setelah menjadi bakso harus melalui uji laboratorium. Namun dari harga mudah dibedakan, daging bakso sapi asli dijual Rp1.000 per butir maka bakso daging babi dijual Rp300 per butir.
Kepala Suku Dinas Peternakan dan Perikanan Jakarta Selatan, Agus Priambodo mengatakan dari segi tekstur kedua daging memiliki tekstur berbeda.
"Warna daging babi pucat dan serat daging halus, sementara serat daging sapi lebih kasar berwarna merah. Namun tetap saja pedagang berupaya mengakalinya," tambah Agus.
Menurutnya, pedagang yang menggunakan daging babi, menjual lebih murah baksonya jika dibandingkan bakso curah yang beredar di pasaran. Jika bakso daging sapi dijual Rp 1.000 per butir, maka bakso daging babi dijual Rp 300 per butir.

Head of South Jakarta Fishing and Husbandry Agency, Agus Priambodo, says that based on textures, the meats are different.
“Pork is pale in color, the fiber is delicate, as for meat, the fiber is rougher and is red in color, yet vendors try to use trick,” Agus adds.
He argues that vendors using pork sell their products cheaper, compared to meatballs sold in markets. If real meatballs are sold at Rp 1,000; pork meatballs are sold at Rp 300,00.
