Jakarta (B2B) - The Indonesian President Joko Widodo telah mengirim surat kepada pimpinan DPR untuk mengajukan mantan Gubernur DKI Jakarta dan juga Ketua Umum Partai Keadilan dan Persatuan Indonesia (PKPI) Sutiyoso sebagai calon Kepala Badan Intelijen Negara (BIN) menggantikan Marciano Norman.

Soal pengajuan nama Sutiyoso sebagai kandidat Kepala BIN itu diungkap oleh Ketua DPR-RI Setya Novanto kepada wartawan di Gedung DPR-RI, Jakarta, Rabu pagi (10/6).

Selain mengajukan nama Kepala Staf TNI Angkatan Darat (KSAD) Jenderal Gatot Nurmantyo sebagai calon Panglima TNI, Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) juga telah berkirim surat kepada pimpinan DPR-RI untuk pengajuan nama mantan Gubernur DKI Jakarta Sutiyo atau Bang Yos sebagai

“Tadi malam sudah komunikasi langsung dengan Presiden, pada saat di Solo, yaitu pergantian panglima TNI ke Gatot, dan sudah menerima surat termasuk masalah Kepala BIN. Ini yang sudah beliau tunjuk adalah pak Sutiyoso menggantikan pak Marciano,” kata Setya Novanto.

Menurut Ketua DPR-RI itu, surat Presiden Jokowi mengenai pencalonan Jenderal Gatot Nurmantyo sebagai Panglima TNI dan Sutiyoso sebagai Kepala BIN itu akan dibawa ke rapat Badan Musyawarah sebelum dibawa ke rapat paripurna DPR-RI, dan selanjutnya dilakukan uji kepatutan dan kelayakan (fit and proper test)nya.

“Nanti secara prosedur akan fit and proper test di Komisi I. Semua berjalan, dan mudah-mudahan semua lancar karena hak prerogatif Pak Presiden,” kata Setya Novanto seperti dilansir Setkab.

Regarding the submission of the Chairman of Indonesian Justice and Unity Party (PKPI) as Head of BIN, was disclosed by the Indonesian House Speaker, Setya Novanto to the press at his office here on Wednesday moring (6/10).

“Last night already direct communication with the President, while in Solo city related with the turn of the TNI commander to Gatot Nurmantyo, and had received a letter including the issue of the head of BIN. He has appointed that Sutiyoso to replace Marciano,” Novanto said.

He added, President Widodo's letter regarding the nomination of General Gatot Nurmantyo as a TNI Commander, and Sutiyoso, as Head of BIN will be taken to the consultative council meeting before being brought to the plenary session of the parliament and then performed the fit and proper test.

“In the procedure should be performed fit and proper test first at the House of Representatives at Commission I. All the running, and hopefully all is well because the prerogative of President,” Novanto said.
