Jakarta (B2B) - Realisasi luas tanam padi berdasarkan data dari Pusat Data dan Informasi Pertanian (Pusdatin) pada Oktober 2012 hingga Mei 2013 mencapai 10,9 juta hektar. Apabila dibandingkan dengan realisasi tanam rata-rata lima tahun terakhir, pada periode yang sama meningkat 485.648 hektar (4,62%).

"Kalau dibandingkan dengan realisasi tanam tahun lalu pada periode yang sama terjadi peningkatan 132.588 hektar atau naik 1,22 persen. Namun apabila dibandingkan dengan sasaran tanam, maka realisasi tanam tersebut baru mencapai 96,28 persen," kata Direktur Jenderal Tanaman Pangan Kementerian Pertanian, Udhoro Kasih Anggoro kepada pers di Jakarta, Kamis (1/8).

Memperhatikan musim hujan yang masih cukup tinggi, kata Udhoro, maka kecenderungan petani untuk menanam akan meningkat. Karena itu, perkiraan realisasi tanam bulan Juni 2013 seluas 925.706 hektar dan untuk Juli 2013, realisasi tanam diperkirakan mencapai 750.515 hektar. Khusus bulan Agustus 2013, realisasi tanam diperkirakan akan mencapai 607.123 hektar dan untuk September 2013, perkiraan luas tanam akan mencapai 767.732 hektar.

Dia menambahkan, luas tanam satu tahun untuk produksi 2013, dari Oktober 2012 hingga September 2013, perkiraan mencapai 14.038.051 hektar atau 97,78% dari sasaran dan hanya kurang 318.091 hektar.

"Langkah-langkah yang perlu dilakukan untuk pengamanan pencapaian sasaran produksi antara lain peningkatan pendampingan penerapan paket teknologi diikuti langkah meningkatkan pengamatan dan pengendalian serangan organisme perusak tanaman atau OPT," kata Udhoro yang didampingi seluruh direktur di Direktorat Jenderal Tanaman Pangan.

Udhoro menambahkan, Direktorat Jenderal Tanaman Pangan akan menindaklanjutinya dengan peningkatan fasilitas penyediaan sarana produksi, peningkatan gerakan olah tanah dan tanam padi, pengkatan fasilitas penanganan panen dan pasca panen.

"Kegiatan tersebut harus ditunjang pula oleh peningkatan fasilitas pemasaran hasil pertanian melalui dukungan seluruh stake holders mulai dari tingkat pusat hingga desa," ungkap Udhoro.

Speciality August 2013the realization planting is expected to reach 607,123 hectares and for September 2013, estimates acreage will reach 767,732 hectares.

He added that the acreage of the year for production in 2013, from October 2012 to September 2013, estimates reach 14,038,051 hectares or 97.78% of the targetand only less 318,091 hectares.

"The steps that necessary to secure achieving production targetssuch as increase assistance for the implementation of technology package follow a step increase surveillance and control of destructive organisms offensive the plant or pest," Udhoro said accompanied all the directors in the Directorate General of Food Crops.

Udhoro added, the Directorate General of Food Crops will follow it up with an increase in facilitating the provision of facilities of production, increase the movement of tillage and planting rice, increase harvest handling facilities, and post-harvest.

"They should be supported also by increase agricultural marketing facilities through the support of all stakeholders from central government to the the rural area," Udhoro said.
